Our May SOM is Andrew Downey and he was nominated by Mrs. Calavitta and here is what she had to say about Andrew. His consistent positive attitude and strong work ethic. He comes to school each day ready to learn, bringing a smile that sets the tone not only for himself but for those around him. His willingness to engage in class and give his best effort makes him a great example of what it means to be a dedicated student. Beyond his own work, Andrew stands out for the way he treats others. He is always willing to help classmates and offers encouragement that builds confidence in those around him. His kindness, responsibility, and positive presence make a meaningful impact on the classroom environment.
Our May EOM is Coach Wiedmaier and he was nominated by Coach Bryant and here is what he had to say about Coach Wiedmaier: I am proud to nominate Coach Wiedmaier for Employee of the Month. He consistently puts the best interests of our students-athletes first and is a true asset to our program. Coach Wiedmaier is the definition of a team player-always willing to step in, support others, and do whatever is needed without seeking recognition. His selfless approach strengthens our staff and sets the tone for a positive, collaborative culture.
While he is an outstanding coach, he is an even better teacher. He builds strong relationships, supports students academically, and models the character and work ethic we want our students to emulate. His leadership and commitment make a meaningful impact every day, and he is highly deserving of this recognition.
