Robotics team posing with winning flags

Whirlwind Robotics competed at the Bryant Battle Robotics tournament this weekend.  Twenty-five teams from across Arkansas came together in Bryant to battle it out for the tournament champion.

Team 967Z made it to quarterfinals where they were eliminated by the tournament champions.  Team 967Z included Dana Liu, Kian Shojaei, Lucas Harold,  and Noah Beaver.

Team 967J made it to quarterfinals where they got beat out by the eventual tournament finalist.  Team 967J consists of Marika Reid, Logan Grant, Sean McCarty, Addison Turner, and Megna Schwehm.

Gavin Hurbanek and Veeren Donda competed with the high school teams and their team, 967E, won tournament champion in the high school division.  Qualifying them for the Arkansas State Robotics tournament hosted by ATU on March 12th.

We are so proud of all of our robotics teams. Their hard work, dedication, and passion show! You can come watch us compete at home on February 19th at Russellville High School between 10:00am and 3:00pm, when we compete in the Whirlwind Wallop robotics tournament hosted by our Whirlwind Robotics.
