Russellville has always been a special place for me where I attended college at Arkansas Tech University and began my career in education. Welcome to RJHS Coach Britt! "Hi, my name is Tommy Britt. I am excited to be a part of the Russellville School District. I have been teaching and coaching for 24 years at various schools in Arkansas and I am happy to be back in the river valley once again. This year I will be teaching Advanced 9th-grade Physical Science, as well as coaching football and track. I am extremely excited to see what this school year will bring and meet all of my students and colleagues as school begins."

Welcome to RJHS Mrs. Green! "Hi! My name is Mrs. Green and I’m not a new face to most- more like an old face returning to where my teaching career all started back in 2009! You might know me from RJHS, London, Western Yell, UE5G (RIS), or RMS. I am excited to be returning to RJHS to teach 8th-grade science next year. I look forward to being with your kids once again. "

Welcome to RJHS Mrs. Harness! "I am starting my 27th year teaching in the Russellville School District. I was at RHS for 20 years where I taught Marketing and sponsored DECA and the work program. I taught keyboarding at RMS for 6 years. My husband, Jason, and I are life-long residents of Pope County and we have two daughters, Miranda and Hannah. I’m looking forward to continuing teaching the students that I taught the past two years!"

Hello, Welcome to RJHS Mrs. Vaught! "My name is Libby Vaught. I'm a proud graduate of Russellville High School and, I'm excited to return to teach agriculture and immerse students in FFA! I reside in Clarksville with my husband Brian. We have two grown sons and raise German shorthaired pointers. When I'm not teaching, I'm most likely turkey-hunting or planning turkey-hunting trips. I'm looking forward to a great year!"

Welcome to RJHS Mrs. Mata! "Hello, my name is Mirna Mata. I am the Secretary in the Counselor's Office at RJHS. I've been married for 8 years and have 3 beautiful kiddos! (Leo, Luci and Livi). In my free time, I like to cook, bake, craft and spend time with my family. This will be my third year at RSD, but my first year being part of a school building. I look forward to helping staff and students throughout the year."

Welcome to RJHS Ms. Nieman "My name is Abigail Niemann, and I will be teaching 8th Grade Social Studies at Russellville Junior High School along with being one of the sponsors for Student Council! I graduated from Russellville High School in 2018, so being able to return to my alma mater is the best feeling. This year, I am most excited about growing as an educator and a person! Go Whirlwinds! Welcome to RJHS Mrs. Torres! "Hi! My name is Bailey Torres. I am the Jr High Cheer coach and will be teaching 8th grade English! I grew up around Russellville, and now my husband and I live here with our sweet dog, Zeke. Everyone at RJHS has been so welcoming and kind to me. RJHS truly has the best staff! I’m super excited to get to know each student and see what this year has in store! "

Our E.A.S.T. students have been working hard and cultivating a garden in the middle of our outdoor space at RJHS! They partnered with Flowers Etc. , Greenthumb Nursery, and Russellville Tractor Supply to gather materials. It has made the pad an inviting and welcoming space!

This week has been so fun! Teachers have been dressing up each day to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week 2023! Tuesday each content/department dressed in a different color, and yesterday was "ROCK your band t-shirt day"! #rjhsteacherappreciationweek2023
